I am just wonder if consensus effort would be helpful to Aweil prosperity and better relation. It doesn't necessarily mean I have assurance about how it might help us to achieve our ideals in the next few years. However, I want to know if that would be the only way to push through all these difficulties.
thank you very much Aher's for raising such a topic. first of all this is a long held tradition of aweil community to do things unanimously. it is witnessed in the ways the chiefdoms were held together despite how large the district were. people have always decided to do things together.
however it should not be prematurely ruled out that it will follow the norm as usual. we have been scattered to various continents and countries which means we will bring home different ideologies. for instannce those who went to arab countries, or eurpeans countries may say their way of doing things are better than other. we also have differences between those who have went to military camp or SPLA movement and those who haven't.
these differences need to be discussed and find a consensus so that we will not confused those who remained at home. these differences should be a guide or moderators and not a source of divisions.
in conclusion i say thank you for the topic and that is how we should go if we are to overcome obstacles.
You have absolutely laid down the differences awaiting ahead of us in the near future. Those are huge differences that we have within us now and it will be rather difficult to tackle them if we are not serious enough and willing to compromise on some grounds. We need to focus on solid things that will unify us and bring changes to our raved district. We can make a difference if we implement what we preach here and get ready to sacrifice ourselves for it.

That was a very good topic and we need to look into it.
What would make us think of ultimate consensus is our history. We need to look back to our past and think why we are here. We been through a lot of hardship partially becuase we are not convince enough to come together for the changes.Some of us still believe in old sayings that Aweil is cursed or foolish majority which is totally ludicrous. It is always hard to agree on what the right thing we should do as a community simply because we don,t trust each other. We, the current generations need to think harder and harder in order to put an end to this long term of misunderstanging among us. I suppose at this point, we should say enough is enough otherwise, it won't help at all. Hey, ladies and gentlemen, let's keep on with the same spirit. There will be a time a at some points we will consider the importance of consensus.

I know i am not from Aweil but the topic at hand interested me to have a say. I think concensus or a compromise is always helpful and it's actually a driving force towards the achievement of many goals. If you guys can unite and build a concensus or a compromise, you will achieve many things which may not be achieve without unity or support from each of you. So i encourage you guys to continue building on the spirit revealed by the creation of this board. Aweil is so big in comparison to many other districts and most people believe it or not always look up on the Aweil people to bring about the unity for all. Given my little knowledge about your past experiences, i think you guys are already united and had built a concensus already so all that is left is putting it into use. By building this website alone, you have set the way necessary for that. I am with you guys as a friend and i will always be out there on your side. The greater nation of South Sudan can benefit directly from the Unity of Aweil people and the same to the Greater Bharelgazal. So just know that any move in any corner to build concensus is equally important in every corner and we really need that at this point in time. Keep up the good work and this spirit and all things that drag you down will be scared and disappear alone.
