Does this kind of a detrimental miscarriage in administration signal the democractic dictatorship awaiting ahead? I am afraid. Our future destinies?
I just want to know from you how you might speculate the political future of South Sudan.
I am just wondering in an obsecurity or quandary about our political futures in the South Sudan under John Garang's leadership.
I believe, under the current circumstances of John Garang's lethal miscarriage of his administration, I would assert that South Sudan is potentially facing a democractic dictatorship.
I am of opinion that there will be no equality, sovereignty of the people, freedom, and independence in the South, though some of us think there will be constructive changes in his leadership.
I Just want to know your insightful perspectives.
Your contributions are supremely appreciated and respected.
Mr. Aher, you are absolutely right, the dust of "Vicious Dictator" will soon disappear, he himself with his supporters are now worried because all communities in Southern Sudan are standing behind egalitarianism. Dictator will chose to leave or present himself on the cross.
Let's us not worry any longer, dictator is stripped of all his previous powers. He is just a symbol now he does not longer have the powers that he used to enjoy. Salva is the new and most powerful guy now in the suoth. I am told that he has been handed total control over military and of course that is where power is. So there is no more room for dictatorship. Salva will use his new powers to bring southerners together through south-south dialogue.
Regarding Salva and Garang these two individuals have long way and the same time long stories to reach as we all knew that Salva was number two in the SPLA/M rank and now is holding postion one,for the sake that those whom were killed by Salva or Garang are known among themselves hence there4, there is noway Garang will pursue his rulling style without the man Salva let's not confuse our selves at this juncture Garang won't seperate with Salva until the end of their time.
Last week Bar-el grazel summon their meeting here in South Australia-Adelaide for fund raising to support Salva and we from Aweil community were stand our loof for the sake that Garang and salva have got great link which we can not involve ourselves without checking our socks first.
I wish I have enough time to give you example Salva's children are here with me matter of 15 minutes drive, we are even together if Garang doesn't want Salva he will find his secret reveal out by Salva likewise to Salva, just check from Aweil@topica.com the they hold their hands have got something in meaning.
Well done Man,We are not supposing People, but we are supporting the objectives and politcal vission of SPLM/A,Aweil community should not participate in any conspiracy aganist SPLM,because we are the victims of this long civil war in Africa,Car can not be drived by two men, People should understand that there is no democracy army struggle, democracy will after peace, thanks you very much and pass my greetings to all Aweil people in that World.
First Dut Mayuen, what have you learned from Salva Kiir dissatisfaction? Did you guys learn that Salva Kiir was defecting from Spla/M? From what we all know so far, there is nothing to do with defection or quitting the movement. John Garang was the principal catalyst of this disturbing situation. Where will Salva Kiir go if he quits the movement that has taken most of his time at the expense of his family as opposed to Millionaires Malong Aleng, John Garang and his Nyandeng, and others who are driving the most expensive cars in the world because of this war. Did you guys conclude Salva Kiir was a wrong guy therefore he had to be disowned forever? Did most of you in Austrialia choose to go with John Garang and not Salva kiir should there be a true split or defection? Dut Mayuen, I am far from affirming that it was a collosal but that was not a good move for our community. For sure there was no good either to rush into contributing money for Salva Kiir's support against John Garang but let's not be preoccupied with collosal misconception that John Garang is everything, it is not true. Jphn Garang can be supported but not to extent of forgetting your own hero. Both Salva Kiir and John Garang have fought for this war and the best thing to do is to solve their problem by perhaps mediating between them. I don't support the idea of contributing money but I want to tell you that john Garang is not Spla/m. John Garang is aging and very soon somebody else will replace him.

Madingdit,
I am again disturbed by this. "People should understand that there is no democracy army struggle, democracy will be after peace." In most modern true democracies, it has taken them a difficult time for them to achieve the current state of a geniune democracy. Do you know why they ultimately reached democracy? It is simply because their leaders have been appreciative and enthuisastic about democracy, there is leaders have taken the idea of a true democracy as a challenge in their time therefore democracy, with no difficult, because the way was open for it to flourish, finally came to places like USA, Europe, and Canada. Their leaders as I have read most of past political ambitions and concerns, I found that it was their effort that brought to their people.
Thus, my point here is that most people believe that the leadership under John Garang, is the greatest impediment to democracy in the South Sudan, unless the citizens become really tough on him and demand for immediate changes. Otherwise the worries will keep mounting day and night because a true obstacle to human freedom.
Another important thing you should also know is that, freedom is not a similar term to equality, they are totally different things. You might have freedom under John Garang's leadership but you will have a lot of problems if you don't have an equality. Equality is the most important principle of a genuine of democracy, equality is means to get access to participation and management of your government, and if there is no equality, there is no a true democracy other than a democratic dictatorship. Therefore, I don't want you to intermingle these terms. It is a collosal mistake if you presume that freedom is similar to equality.
We all equalit and sovereignty of the people to believe that we a true democracy in the South.
Deng Santo, you are correct but what about his deceptive games. I am afraid.
Further, I would be tremendously happy if they have stipped him of illegal powers.
Mabior Issace, I would be glad if the sovereignty of the people comes home my brother. Let's be optimistic anyway.
