Aweil need to recruit Aweil citizen to topple Dr G

1 Dec 2004, Rumbek, New Sudan
The Conference of the Joint SPLM Leadership Organs that convened in Rumbek from 29th to 1st December 2004 was attended by about five hundred delegates from all over the New Sudan. The organs consisted of The Leadership Council, SPLM National Executive Council, Members of IGAD Peace Delegation, General Military Council, County Secretaries, and Regional Committees for Peace and Reconciliation.

The Chairman and Commander in Chief of the SPLM/A Dr. John Garang de Mabior deputized by the 1st Vice Chairman and Chief of General Staff Commander Salva Kiir briefed the leadership organs on recent developments on the peace process.

The three days conference voted anonymously to endorse the Security Councils Resolution No. 1574 and empowered the SPLM Delegation to the IGAD Peace Process to pursue and sign the final peace agreement by the end of December 2004.

Here are some of the images brought to you straight from the field.

Hi Tinny Joker,

Thanks for the article and the pictures but you guess what, there is more to come than these pictures. We knew these pictures were going to be released as soon as Salva Kiir decided to attend the conference. I have not been responding to most of your provocative articles that you have been pouring on the board recently because most, if not all of them do not make sense to me.

Regarding the Rumbek's conference, I have been following it very closely since it begun, I have close friends right in Rumbek. Here is what I have learned so far, Dictator Garang is no longer going to dictate anything, he is striped of all the powers that he held since 1983. The conference has marked a new beginning for the SPLA/M and the people of southern Sudan. Garang is not longer above every body as he used to be. New division of powers according to reliable sources is that, Salva Kiir Mayardit is given a TOTAL/ABSOLUTE control over southern Sudanese armed forces, and he is going to be the president of southern Sudan as soon as the peace is signed. Garang is left with only one position; that of the vice president of the Republic of Sudan. The conference was a shameful defeat for Garang, almost all the attendees of the conference blamed Garang for recent crisis and for the division within the south. Garang had to accept full responsibility for everything including recent stand off because he didn't have any choice. So Mr. Tinny Joker, there is nothing good in the Rumbek conference, it has turned out to be in favour for Salva Mayardit and a great loss for Garang and his sycophants. Riak Machar is given a new position with well defined duties. It is not longer like before when a person was appointed by Garang without telling him his duties. This is a new beginning and Garang knows it so well. For him to survive he had to accept those bad conditions. I am glad Garang is becoming this weak.

Dear bro. Deng Santo,

Thank you very much for your intensive study of Rumbek's conference. Please keep studying it and give us a reliable source like the one you made.

Tinny Joker 1,

Thank for sarcastic pictures intended for your own interests and gains.

Mayik Aher, you can absolutely describe him as a democratic man but let see whether he will keep the aggreement and promise.

Any violation to whatever the Rumbek's conference outcome is, will increase the number of Garang's critics.

Applause

Santino Ajith
