Why communication, a must-read by Ashuein Alor

Guys, below is an article written by Molana Ashuein Alor to express his disappointment on how some of us are doing things. It is a great articl worthy of reading, take your time and have a look at it, you may have something to learn from it. Take care.

"Why communication?

By Akuien Achuil Alor

The essence of our humanness depends solely on our interaction with other humans. That is, to function in a happy and healthy manner, human beings need one another. We need each other to help us laugh, help us cry, help us work, help us produce species, and help us die when the time comes. In this respect, here comes the significance of communication. Communication serves significantly various functions in our life. It allows us to fulfill our physical, social, and identity needs. Some went even further to view communication as a matter of death and life. Frederick 11, emperor of Germany (1196-1250) was believed to be the first person who proved the idea that without communication, we would die. Additionally, communication is a principal way of which relationships are created. It helps us seek out for friendship, pleasure, and relaxation. It is a way of which we show others that we care, and acquire something we don’t have. Conversely, in our great forum: aweiltopica.com, communication is meant to sabotage this relationship and make enemies to the maximum. Interestingly enough, they believed that civilized language is of the utmost importance of their rules in their forum.

More importantly, communication helps us find our identity. It is the only way we learn who we are; whether we are attractive or ugly, smart or stupid, selfish or selfless, competent or incompetent, and so forth. All these characteristics don’t come from looking in the mirror. In a word, our identity comes from the way we interact with others. We learn an identity of who we are from the way others define us. At this particular juncture, should someone else defines you as selfish, then it is your choice to remain as you are or make use of this diagnosis. It is not shameful at all to be who you are today, and then become somebody to morrow. Shame comes when we let our inevitable moment of weakness and selfishness becomes permanent part of our character. The very weak people are those who seek out for people who view them favorably in order to resist any possible change. These kinds of people don’t grow intellectually because they don’t believe in disagreement as a useful means of learning. When we reach out for people who give us a false praise, we won’t develop our interpersonal skills. Therefore, we always experience in aweil@topica.com embarrassing behavior than laugh at even when it is not meant to be funny.

Having said that communication is a way of which we acquire something we Don’t have, it is apparent that we must have learned something at least, given the fact that everyone is a teacher or has a potential to be a teacher including children, youth and adults. Simultaneously, they are also students based on the principle that we are all in a continuous process of learning as we journey through our life stages. Besides, all teachers may have the ability to teach perspective of harmony.   But how can we learn in a society where we either get false accusation when we disagree with one another or false praise when we are yes people to each other! We learn nothing when we surround our selves with yes group. Yes, we learn nothing in a society where great teachers, doctors, lawyers, etc, assume themselves to be the all knowing people that they should be followed or else. Truly, we cannot learn especially when we interact with humans who view themselves favorably than the reality suggests!"
