Mading Aweil is not fully hosted. It is a free site, so it does not have e-mail hosting server.

Acid,

From my understanding, TJ1 was giving an answer to the question posted by Ms Aluel. Obviously those who are conversant with the webhosting services will understand that Tiny Joker1 did not go beyond the question. What I do not know though is whether what he said is true or not.

TJ1,

From my experience, I know that some free websites can be given email addresses that end with their domain names by webhosting companies. Even in some cases, paid websites are given very limited number of email addresses. Irrespective of whether a website is paid or not, there is a limit to the number of email addresses it can be provided.

Ms. Aluel,

Remember websites are different from email service providers such as yahoo and hotmail. The difference being the number of free email adresses they can offer. So Ms. Aluel, even if madingaweil.com was given the privilige of having email addresses, they would not be enough for every person who is interested in owning one. At times, the administrative and moderating teams use the few available emails for internal use only. Maybe at a certain point of time when this website becomes more proficient, you may own one especially if you become part of the administration. But the best person to satisfy your question is Kuot Kuot himself. I apologize in advance for intrusion.

PS: Guys, nothing attached to the differential treatment accorded the above people. But I must confess that the name Aluel is special to me and every bearer of that name deserves a bending knee from me. That might answer your curiousity!

Dear Aluel,

Sorry sis, it took me long to answer your question. Yesterday was such a big day for the Sudanese people in the wider world. I had to travel places to see friends so we could feel high together, came back home late last night, and had to take care of my school business for a good amount of today, that is why I could not answer your question in time. But Mayom Bul has fully answered your question, there is a limit to the number of e-mails a given website can give out to interested members unless such a site is an e-mail hosting company like yahoo. The number of e-mails provided to a particular websites depends on the hosting company.

Mading Aweil website like all other websites has limited amount of e-mail accounts it can give those who want them. We can provide e-mail accounts in the form of any_name@madingaweil.com to over 2000 interested members. We do however need to provide webmail so our clients may be able to access (log into) their e-mail accounts. Anyone who has a personal computer doesn't necessarily need to access his/her account over webmail, he/she can simply use outlook express or express outlook (which is found on every computer) to set up his/her account. We shall soon provide webmail for those who would like to be provided with Mading Aweil website e-mail service and for those who have their personal computers and who are interested in our e-mail service, just contact me at webmaster@madingaweil.com so that you be provided with a few tips on what to do to have your e-mails up and running.

Mayom Bul thank you dude for your answer, and by the way you never told me your mom's name but should I guess that your mom is called "Aluel?" as implied in your messae above? Sorry dude if I got it all wrong.

Kuot Kuot.

Thank you all for your positive replies. It is awesome that email @ mading will soon be a reality- I can't wait to get rid of my yahoo! and hotmail accounts. As for the limited number, I think it will be more practical to deal with the issue at a later date as it is unlikely that membership will suddenly rise by 1000%...

All the best and take care.

Regards,

Aluel

Hey Wen Abuk,

I will give you another chance to try again. My mother's name is Ayen. Hey you know what, Abuk is my sister's name. So I will call you my niece. How pretty that would sound!

Santino Dhor,

You know what man, I am even starting to forget that your christian name is Santino. What happened to it? Are you rechristened to Dhor again? Don't ask mine please. In my primary school, I was given two names, John and James. But I decided to let go of them in form one. So they disappeared kabisa.

You said you know the answer? Well give it a try. Oh no, I changed my mind. I think I should consider every answer wrong. So your answer might be wrong as well. But here is a deal if you want to let you know whether you are right or not. Tell me who she is that you consider special to you.

Hey mabbul,

You really diverted my attention when you said, "... I must confess that the name Aluel is special to me and every bearer of that name deserves a bending knee from me". Man what of those who are called Lual? I suppose it's the same name and only that the Aluels are usually in skirts and the Luals in shorts/trousers. I think we also deserve a bending knee from you.

Know wot dude, I have same answer as that of Dhor even though I am not really sure of what his answer is but I am sure I have a perfect guess! Your "angel's" name must be called ALUEL and she is for sure!....

Lual Dau,

Welcome bro. Everyone deserves a bending knee but from different people. The skirt-wearing people bend their knees to the trousers-wearing people and vice versa. I think by now, someone bends her knees to you or to those who have the same name you have: Lual.

"Your "angel's" name must be called ALUEL and she is for sure!"

Wat is wrong with you colleague? Are you stalking on someone's daughter or what? How did you know I have an "angel" called Aluel? But like I told Dhor before, there is no right answer here. Everybody, right or wrong, is wrong!

If you think my angel's name is Aluel, why would you say you deserve a bending knee from me? Or do you want to say that I am Gxx or homoxxxxxx? Even your names mean the same thing, I would prefer Aluel. It's like the way Aluel would tell another Yom that she prefers Mayom etc etc.

Meanwhile, how's Tasmania treating you now? Any communication with those of Ngundeng?

I guess it was a mistake although I do not know what mistake we made. Maybe you can try to elaborate a little bit where we are bull****ing somebody's name and I will try to explain why it should be otherwise. By the way, whose name specifically are you talking about?

acid anei/awach anei,

Thanks for your "advices" directed to me and mayom Bul. I apologise if what you saw is what it looks like in other people's eyes but I have to sincerely tell you that mine was a mere guess just like Dhor and Kuot Kuot had made similar trials. Only God knows why you thought me and mayom were bull****ing but not Dhor and kuot kuot. Thanks anyway!

mabbul,

Not really! I did not mean to say you are Homoxxxxxxx. I apologise if you thought I would think so. Tassie is ok.I did not have any contact with Ngundxxx.Do you still have any bussiness with it?

I heard it that there are some devoted Ngundeng followers there in Aussie, but have no cues.

Welcome back to the board Lual Dau, you were lost. Hope life in Ausie isn't doing you harm.

Kuot Kuot,

Thanks for the curiosity.

But you know what, I am not well-informed or knowledgeable about Ngundeng Bong's prophecies. I, however, know  little but corrupted versions of some of his prophecies though the real meanings are twisted and misinterpreted by the interpreters.

The most difficult part of that misinterpretations comes because Ngundeng's prophecies/visions are in oral forms (mostly embedded in songs). So, it becomes ambiguous to tell. To the best of my knowledge, Ngundeng's description of current and future Southern Sudanese according to events, names of certain people and some things that I don't know or sure of.

Back to the point, (1) he mentioned and envsioned that "Our flag will not be the same with Arabs--(he termed Arabs in Nuer--as "rol maac". (2) That "when peace comes, many people will be in dilemma and question "is it a real peace", but this is not the end of it" he said. Once South Sudanese (he called them...."dor mi wic car"...that is generation [nation---it is hard to interpret] with black hair [head]) enter "reek" (city), then Guek Ngundeng (his son---maybe who knows that can be another southerner) will be slapped in the face by an Arab. Then Ngundeng's  "Tuook ding " or stripped guard will break into two. So the war will erupt. Blood will flow like stream of water into Nile. Southerners will start running from Khartoum until "Barkaat"----I don't know where that barkaat is or what it means. From there if you are in that war you will have wanted not to be there, but if you are outside, you will have wanted to have been there. Eventually this will be the complete separation and end  of war.

I have many more but they are just hearsays. I have not gotten a chance to chat with a well-informed old man who can tell me stories so that I could synthesize them in my own way and understanding. Maybe I will soon do a research on it, though I am not an anthropologist.

But bear in minds that Ngundeng's prophecies are real but they are corrupted by politicians (Garang and Riek) because he mentioned their names. Even the deaths of  Nyuon Bany and other high rankings were predicted in the songs. Anyways, Garang has the original book of Ngundeng, he knows more than any one. You can contact some Ngundeng group in Aussie.

Thanks!

dear lual dau and mayom bul,

frankly, i didn't mean to hurte your feeling or upset ya, but i was just inputting what i think is inappropriate way of chatting that is "bending knee from me". it's really sound weird and inpolite specially when name such as aluel is wind up. i think and believe aluel is common name in s.sudan bear by either male or female in some communities. my big apprehensive is that using unidentified name such aluel may caused inner conflict among the citizens of south sudan. only way to specifice the name, unless you add the last name of whoever aluel ya talk about.

lual dau, in case of dhor, mayom has already reply his thorn and that has satisfied me most, so that is why i don't want to  double comment it, but i really don't know where kuot kuot talk about aluel as you place in. bet you dude, i'm a man of my own principles, i fear no man but God.

incase of community, don't take chance but take action,

thanks!

awach anei.

Acid,

No offence taken.

Wangkec/Chojanga/Canal,

What is up buddy? I hope you are doing cool. Your name, wangkec, is funny man. Does it mean a "bitter eye" as that would be the case in Nuer Dialect?

Kuot Kuot,

Ngundeng's prophecies have caused both happiness and havoc in our society. 1991 massacre is accredited to him by some Nuers and even today, some Nuers believe that the one who will liberate southerners from Arabs MUST be from Nuer. So Riek Machar's breakaway from the SPLA or Matip keeping himself at bay were made with an attempt that one of them will be that prophesized liberator. But there are a bunch of good prophecies about the current war. I have heard a few of them myself.

Yeah man, you got the El-D thing. But nowadays, I do not talk of El-D anymore. Mobility is active man so there is another name that has taken the place of El-D. I think that is why Lual Dau is so confident of his answer. Your memory is still sharp man as you can remember that bus conversation.

acid anei,

Not at all! I am not hurt. I will always remain what I am whether I am talking at Aweil or somewhere else.I simply was naming those that have responded to mayom by giving a guess to his "bending knee thing" and that's why I cited Dhor and kuot kuot and myself who became the only victim of mayom's 'bending knee issue'. Kuot kuot said that mayom mum's name must be called ALUEL and Dhor said, "I know why the name Aluel is special to you". I didn't quote those expecting you reply back but its my hope that we let it go since non of us had some intentions for the other.
