it's important that Aweil need us all, but you have to be specifiy in month, date and so forth so that people can know it in advances, incase of time conflict between work and school. i'm not trying to be something bro, but just to let you know that i wanna come for the convention and i need to know so that i can get my ticket on time.
The fundamental need at this difficult time is to create a strong and thinking leadership in Aweil community. I respect all our leaders but I want them actually to do more work as far as the social, economic, and political fragile situations are concerned. The creation of a better leadership must not be overlooked nor underestimated. I want a better leadership to appear in Aweil community to confront the current and future problems so that they are not passed on to next generations. We can't assume that our time is going and thus we don't need to mind of future generations. It is our responsibility to fight for those who are vioceless and visionless.
The bottomline is that the creation of the better leadership which will have a capacity to nuture our growth and prosperity is what we need to create and consolidate the groundwork of our community. We must work hard to leave the committed life behind us. This agendum must appear in the next meeting. I am not sure If I will attend it. Sound and competent leadership is what we need in Aweil for progress.
thank you very much for your letter which you posted on jan, 31,05 anyway welcome to mading aweil discusion board,so Iam here to let you know that I read and double read your letter,but according to my understanding you stated that there should be social econmic and political well being, more over, you also mentioned that there will be a creation of better leadership and not to be overlook nor underestimated. for your message to be clear, can you verify who overlook who? in mading aweil community.
Second, I didn't mean some leaders overlook or underestimate other leaders. I was only stressing the importance of the leadership in Aweil community. I meant to say that people from Aweil should work hard to create a competent and responsive leadership, which, if successfully created and nurtured, would actually be able to fight against social problems, for instance, illiteracy and poverty and economic problems, for instance, leadership will work to create better economic opportunities for local people to be self-sufficient in term of food production and marketing of their surpluses if they have enough for domestic consumption.
Another aspect is the political aspect of the development and growth. The local people, particularly young people who are going to school must be politically oriented for them to understand how the governments run. They must be taught to know democracy, human right awareness and abuses in their schools; they must be taught how to fight for self-recovery and independent thinking in their schools; they must be taught excellent leadership qualities for them to make the best leaders in the future. This is extremely important for people who need some positive political transformations. And this is another way we can develop and nurture the competent and powerful leadership in Aweil. Getting everybody in the political participation and community issues would pave the way for the vast majority to learn better ways of doing things and how to get actively involved in the community deveopment. My point is that I urge everybody, especially those who are currently holding leadership positions in Aweil to be mindful and considerate of common people biggest needs and concerns. I am not trying to condemn anybody nor do I want to hold any person accountable for anything. I have nobody in my mind from Aweil to hold accountable. I am only after seeing something better done this time henceforward. And this can be done the child, solidier, student, farmer, teacher, carpeter, commissioner, governor, and president if we may by piece of luck have one from Aweil.
Jackson Anei, the bottomline is that we must recognize need of creating strong, competent, unifying, caring, responsive leadership, particularly in time of difficulties like upcoming tragic starvation of second 1988. This is the situation where the capacity of strong and responsive leadership should surface. It is indeed a situation I have discovered to be the biggest impediment to endeavors. Since you are one of the people that will attend the meeting, I want you to raise this issue though some of them will apt to say they already have strong leadership. I believe we have leadership and leaders who have perhaps correctly filled those positions. However, they have a lot of work to do this to suit the need of the current economic, social, and political problems. They have to talk thoroughly about how they can actually do some better reformations and modifications in their leadership direction and style. I want our leaders to discuss vital issues and be able to know what they can to solve the problems or obstacles that lag them behind. They have to know why they are always eaily turned against one another by the foreigners. They have to know what are their overall responsibilities to the common people in Aweil. They have to know what they can do about Aweil security given the fact that we are closer to Arabs' locations or towns than other communities. They have to know how much they can do to reduce poverty so that every child in Aweil access to sufficient food and better education. Jackson Anei, there is a lot I can tell them yourself included but I can't change anything because I am not holding any position in Aweil. This is just view of what need to be done. We need to be orgainized in term of leadership and so that we can be directed like other communities. Otherwise shouting for a brighter future and prosperity for everyone would be unreachabe or unttainable goal.
My Philosophy is that we must always do things for the benefit of the entire community, particularly the common people. The voiceless and visionless need our efforts this time, particularly in term of competent and responsive leadership.

to reply your letter straight away I was not awarness that there is A male call aquoll, in mading Aweil, but anyway whatever you call yourself. I can not arugment with you too much,first all Iam so greatful of you far mention when you talked about, tighting about our matter land ,so my question is? what it is your Ideas, before we taught our chidren democracy and human right abuse, it seem to me that schools are not strnight up now in mading aweil in particular and all the marginalies of the southern of sudan.
