On behalf of the SPLA/M heroines and heroes in New South Wales, I would like to inform the vetrians and struggled people of Aweil and other marginalized areas that we have celeberated the 16 of May on 20/5/05,from first time since last three years in Sydney. In two years there were so many questions from individual people asked the celebefration to be done. With some difficulties facing us here in Australia in regarding to the conflict theories between the dominate groups in sub-communities with an arabic languange and miniority groups with an English languange, has been a big controverisal issues in the Southerners Sudanese society. However, a group of people from Aweil vetrians were celeberated the 16 of May with participation of others sub-communities and Australians people. The Mr./Mrs speakers and intellecuals of SPLA/M who were participated in representation of the war in Sudan, were capable and told the good messages to the attendants. These messages was included the British forces and Australian 750 troop who were in the war in 1885, in Sudan, the 17 years war of the Any-any 1 and 2, and break brief of peace in 1972 to 1983. The Bahr El Gazal youth group claimed the unity of all as an only way to remember our people who loss their lives in the war.

We hope every year, we celeberate the 16 of May from 16 to 30 of May and not June, because the June will be the Sudanese government celeberation.

Finally, i am very happy with the Aweil youth and heroes and heroines of the SPLA/M for caring the dreams of the reality and secret power of the strength.
