It has been difficult for the south people to say no for the unity with the north part of the country,although they have rights to say so, because they are different people with different culture. South people had never agreed with the north on the unity of Sudan since independent of Sudan in January 1956.
The unity of Sudan was imposed on the south people against their will by the northern governments through intimedation,killing and imprisments. Separation today is not secret or a hidden agenda for the south people,it is their choice which based on the self-determination. It is just the south people could say no unity with the north enemy.
Some southerners talk about separation when they are alone in their meetings and talk about the unity when they are with the northern enemies. This is very vague and cowardness from the south people. It doesn't work in that way,for other countries or northerns might overlooked us and say ; this is a confusion. However,the southern people should have one opinion and have a clear objective toward their own future.
The unity has lost two generations. Some were parished and some remained illetrate. This current generation must relief its people by saying no for the unity with the north enemy,but only separation is the best for our people. The south people must not and should not appease the north enemy by supporting the unity which they do not agree to.
The south people have to speak out loudly about the separation. Separation is not something to be granted to us, it is something that we fought for it and we have forced the north enemy to sit down and negotiate with us by approving to us the self-determination. Therefore, separation is our choice and is only the best for us. This would be the last golden chance for us to miss if we do not vote for it.
Today, my campiagn for the independent south start from here ! we the south people let us forget about fighting each otherover bons left by the north and let us come togather,unite for one goal and have a clear vision for the south s'future
Separation is the best for me and for my people. For this point of separation, I have to be very conservative and redical to say a BIG NO for the unity with the north enemy and say a BIG YES for the separation of the south.
I have to support the notion of separation because of the following points :
1- North-Arabs has given us a bad check to known as slave in our own land.
2- North-Arabs have the rights to be the rulers of the country and the south people are not deserve.
3-We have become immigrants,refugees,displaced and homeless in our mother-father land.
4- We have no rights to work in the governments institutions,even though we are qualify for it.
5- North-Arabs have the rights to marriage our daughters and we are not allow to do so.
6- We are black Africans and they are Arabs-white accordind to their ill-minded thoughts ( racial oriented). Therefore, there is no sign for the unity at this point.
7- We are different in ideology,values,norms, culture,religion,land and soil, cattles and even environment that we live in it is different.
8- We have no rights to build our spiritual places in the North,East West and the central of the country. But the Arabs are allow to do so in the south country.
9- We have no rights to bury our death bodies in the same graveyard with Arabs people or get our own graveyard in order to bury our people in the North country.
What kind of the unity does the North-Arabs want?
I do not see the sign of the unity. Separation is the best choice me and our people in the south. We have to be frank at this time and we must have a clear vision to our south s' future.
I and our people in the south didn't fight for the unity,but we fought for the independent south. Our war with the North enemy was caused by the nine points that I have mentioned above. These nine points have left the millions of our people to be immigrants, refugees and displaced within their country and around the world.
Today at my small desk which I have been written this easy addressing our people around the world. I woud like to invite all southern people to join me in the topic of separation. I want them to start the compiagn about separation from now before the referandom start or end. I want them to talk to their people in their regions,provinces,counties,districts and villages in the south country. I want them to explain the nature of self-determination to their people, to explain to their the meaning of both unity and self-determination. There is no fear in the south ground because. We already have our own forces in the south.
The SLPA will guide the operation of the separation on the ground in the south country' The enlightenment of the south people about separation before the period of self-determination in very essencial to us.
In conclusion, separation is the choice to me and to the people in south. The North -Arabs beliefs including superiority over the south people,domination, oppression ,exploitation and dehumanization of the south people. I have to say that the south must be left alone to look after itself. I would like to hear more from the southern uninists.
People, when presented with opportunities to decide, choosing what is rational and practical, aren’t hard things to come by.
Now that the CPA hasn’t been made attractive and I don’t envision NIF/NCP doing so, southerners are left with no choice but to go for what is feasible comes referendum day.
In short, as you said, separation is nothing to be ashame of and should be declared in broad day light when and if circumstances dictate. Both windows of opportunities for separation and unity are enshrined in the CPA. Hence, given our prudent and humbling rationality, all we have to do is choose wisely when that day arrives.
