The South Sudan Vice President Dr. Riek Machar while attending massive rehearsal for independence South Sudan on Friday at Dr John Garang Mausoleum organized by regular forces and civil society organizations said "free at least," excitedly meanwhile interacting with counterpart Ministers in the Government of Southern Sudan such as the Minister of Cabinet Affairs Kosti Manibe, Gier Chuang Aluong the Minister of External Affairs and the Minister of General Education MichaelMilli Hussein among many others.
The dream has come true, and we are excitedly waiting for the day while prepared, the Vice President said to all his colleagues in exchanging of happy greeting.
The military marching which commenced at Buluk open ground has drew hundred of civilians in the town to Dr. John Garang De Mabior which allow civilians to join the march anyhow, but we observed and we dont want it to happen at the last rehearsal which will be attends by the President Salva Kiir Mayardit on Tuesday the fifth of July, said Abdon Agaw Jok the Secretary General of the Government of Southern Sudan to the Journalists.
The civil society if allowed to move with the organized forces they cannot suppose to march like soldiers but to move like happy people carrying some flyers which says a concrete message to the people of the world which will be marks this historic day with us, Jok pointed.
This rehearsal was convened to the Vice President of the Government of Southern Sudan Dr. Riek Machar and we happy on the side of parade for the well work done by our regular organized forces and we will address some remaining issues within few days to the finally rehearsal, said Jok.
He appeal to all the citizens who will have interest to join another rehearsal and the independence to be organized but not to do what soldiers do as well ass to follow where they will be directed to seat.
The atmosphere of happiness was high according to the observation from the faces of my brothers and sister, and that is why we see some people fainted, said one participant, Wilson Suma.
The government should work very hard to increase number of ambulances during the finally celebration where fainting speeches will be release by our leaders, imagine if practice alone leave some people flatly fainted what about the last, said Suma.
