The Vice President of the Government of Southern Sudan Dr. Riek Machar said in his arrivals yesterday from political and economics multilateral ties lobbying ahead of formal declaration of the Republic of South Sudan has attained.

 Dr. Machar while addressing the journalists on Wednesday at Juba International Airport upon from attended global summit on HIV/AIDS that took place in United States of America and also the United Nations Security Assembly on Sudan said that they world leaders expresses deeply concerns to quelled political tensions that faced by South Sudan ahead of independence

 Vice President assures South-Sudanese about the commitment pledged by United Nations  Security Council of endorsing the needed Ethiopian Peacekeepers forces to Abyei which is the most hotspot that can trigger another civil war between South and North if peaceful deal has not obtain

We hope in few days to come the Ethiopian peacekeepers will be deploy in Abyei area until the political settlement is achieved through international and regional effort and to end crisis in South-Kordofan area through peaceful and political dialogue said Riek.

It is vital that the United Nations Security Council should now act on the groundwork and drive the peacemaking efforts to ensure that the Comprehensive Peace Agreement implemented fully, said Riek

He added that they have presented the position of Southern Sudan on HIV/AIDS in global summits that attended by one hundred and thirty five countries worldwide to redress the prevalence of the endemic diseases especially in the developing countries.

The summit pointed out the shortage of global funding to combating the disease and the developed countries were urges to releases more funds on combating the pandemic diseases across the globe, Dr Riek reiterate.

He further disclose about his diplomatic side meetings with several countries including the United Arab Emirate of which they discuss about the potentiality South Sudan in term of investment opportunity after independence.

The United Arab Emirate pledge to play a key role in South Sudan investment and calls for investors conference to be held on 0ctomber 2011 to address way forward of attracting more investors to South Sudan, said Riek.

We interact with diplomats of different countries and they express their willingness to invest in Southern Sudan after formal declaration of her independence, Riek further said.
