Kiir returns from 17th AU Summit Machar leads Ministers for Receptions

The President of the Government of Southern Sudan Salva Kiir Mayardit upon his arrival from 17th Africa Union Summit that held in Equatorial Guinea for three days was received yesterday at Juba International Airport by the Vice President Dr. Riek Machar accompanies by several Ministers.
Addressing the Journalists upon their arrival the Minister in the office of President Dr Cirino Hiteng who among the delegations that went to the summit with the President said that the Africa Union heads of states gave very big applause to the newest nation of the Republic South Sudan.
The Minister explains that the central issue about the summit is Accelerating youth empowerment for sustainable development in Africa and South Sudan is an expectable as 54th member of Africa Union.
We are proud enough because we found that the host Country has fly high the flag of the Republic of South Sudan before it formal declaration, beside that the President of Equatorial Guinea Teodoro Obiang express that the present of South Sudan in the summit is a rehearsal to be active member in the union, said Hiteng.
President Kiir was introduced to all members of Africa Union heads of states and they speak loudly about their recognition of the newly born Republic of South Sudan, the Minister reiterated.
He added that the President Kiir while in Malabo interacted with many heads of states and promises them the position of South Sudan leadership toward the regional, by clearly maintaining that South Sudan will work for better relationship with Khartoum government by normalizing the bilateral ties.
The President has express the political will to welcome regional and international multilateral ties after independence of South Sudan, he said.
President Kiir reiterated much about the committed exerted by the Government of Southern Sudan to build full-fledge diplomatic ties between Khartoum to offer peaceful coexistence among different communities that bond up by borderline through exchanges of goods and services across borders Hiteng further said.
The head of states of Africa Union has given assurance to duly push for achievement of the youth integration in all aspect of the nation-building and South Sudan will be the part and parcel to embark in the development of youth empowerment, said the Minister.
The Minister discloses that it is the first time for the region to invite our President as observer as South Sudan cordially waited by AU membership.
