Iam writing to you b'cause iam really fed up with how our communities are breaking up & how intellectuals and youth of Millennium become a just followers of the ideology of tribalism, clans and false grouping abroad. The emerged of what is so called Ajuet, karok, Abiem, Ayat, Kongder, Ajuongthii, and many many more is a direct threat to the unity of Aweil Communities members abroad. This weaken the communities cohesiveness, causing divison and therefore dysfunction the communities. Aweil members for along time have been known for their strong hold of the precious term 'AWEIL' in all situations good or worse and where ever they live. Nobody ever prefare to use other name to unite us, and we so become best example to be follow by other communities.
Today, there are people who started to poison the unity and togetherness with completely false ideas and dreams that only convinced immotional and 'Mr. Manth Baai' (Weak people that prefare his fellow clan man than a man who will serve entire Aweil community.) These people create these groups to paralysed the functions of the communities & then blame executive bodies of failing to serve the members of the communities. Execuses for their actions are always vague. They may say the formed bodies are not serving the interst of the members, or are not qualify to mange the communities well. Some make up reasons like , " we are forming this bodies to help and support our people back home" other jumps the queue and said it will be asocial group doing bussiness.
Right, i agree with you that really some of our bodies abroad are not functioning, mismanged and those running them lack a clear vision for the future of our communities members. So those who are initiating these groups would do fantastic things to Aweil members abroad if they get in and use their abilities to let bodies do better. But to my knowledge this initiators are worse than what we actually have. When they finish forming this groups they will jump from the window and form what is so called "Wut"an then"hothok"(family). They don't have a clear vision too nor leadership qualities. They use social groupings to create hatred and division among one united aweil communities, than forming them help to promote and help communities bodies on social issues. They always have hiden agenda that may torn apart the whole communities.
All the excuses always put forward by these people are all false, and would only convinced a person who is wrongly in the 1st word countries and doen't know what is globalisation, or that backwardness who just want to follow and lack understanding of how precious is Aweil around the World. For a patriot who wore the name of Aweil and fight for the freedom of our people,and for a person who happen to be in amodern World with more understanding, or for a man /a woman who understind the term UNITY, all these groupings are nothing.
Comrade, Aweil is a name to be proud of, and unity is the symbol of strength, these groupings of what is so called Gomjuer, paliet , karok, Abiem, Ayat,-- -- -- -- -- and so many, away from our mother land would harm our unity and dismantle social cohesiveness and our dreams of promoting our precious name Aweil in the Western World. Those who have that ideas please let them vanish and come on and put that energy on our community works. Youth, i advice you that the generation of underage and children that are born and will be born away from our Mother land are your responsibities and duties to give them what is the best.
Lastly, i will conclude by putting forward a questions, do you thinks replacing communities bodies with these groupings will help unity of people abroad? Do people really know from our ancestors why these gouping was use for? Do you know what will happen if we all go under these groupings and abandon the name of Aweil ? Who will be responsible for the generation if they grow up in these type of groupings? Who do you think is responsible and will be?
