A chieving a durable unity is a gaol

Dear all,

While Madingaweil website is freshly developing and progressively improving, it is still a tremendous opportunity for southerners to discuss and share their ideas on the issues relating to unity, peace,  tranquillity, and equally important the best ways to bring and establish a genuine democratic south. It has been a fragile situation for decades, therefore, we must do something to help the combative situation, from growing wild and spread like a fire on the prairie. It is a capital fact, that southerners have enormous problems and likewise they have difficulty finding solutions for them.  But can we give up and remain divided and combative to one another? I suppose, not. We have ability and resources to use to bring ourselves back to the state of peace, unity, tranquillity, progress, and prosperity. This is ultimately our job, as southerners, we can't borrow or import people to bring these elements to our communities, or the larger community that encompasses our smaller communities. It is by bringing a trust and confidence amidst this diversity in the south. I am of opinion that, it is only through collaboration and teamwork that we can help the situation, it would be through respecting the glory of other people that can mitigate the current situation. We are all longing for peace and unity amidst southerners though we can't get them with Arabs;our understanding of the fundamental importance of peace and unity in the south is the key to success and defeat of Arabs.

We have little chance of defeating the oppressive regime of NIF if we are feebly united in the south. Dear southerners, our unity deserves a great opportunity to move forward without making ourselves obstacles to its progress. It is a mission that everyone in the southerner, must spare his/her time to contribute to peace and unity.  We have all means to make our dreams come true, there is no way but through discussion and dialogue in all media, which Madingawiel is one of them. We must talk and promote the politics of hope, optimism, peace, tranquillity, and prosperity, and not the politics of desperation, pessimism, disunity, division, servitude, pusillanimity, hatred, domination, frustration, and military combat against one another. The former is the key to a strong south, the latter is an onerous to a weak south.

Upon looking at the entire situation, I find that southerners have a full obligation to get south out of current difficulties; they have all responsibilities to discuss and debate the issues in a constructive and productive way, which will serve to alleviate the problems we have. We must work, in collaboration with everyone irrespective of tribe, region, clan, color, status, so that we would be able to solve our problems: we can make south Sudan, a strong and much more stabilized region through co-operation and teamwork. The major regions that constitute south Sudan: Equatoria, BEG, and Upper Nile must work in creating a peaceful and prosperou environment in the south. It is the mission that requires our complete commitment and collaboration to accomplish.

Equality and a genuine democracy should be the hallmarks of our life in the south.

"When the leadership languishes, everything around it languishes, when it sleeps, whatever goes around it sleeps." Alexis de Tocqueville.

Thanks,
