Dear Wol M. Dut and other new members,

How are you my brothers and sisters?  Again, welcome to discuss important issues with us.

That is great to be with us here on Aweil's website. Aweil community deserves a tremendous opportunity to bring her people together so that they would be able to meet each and every challenge in a mature and constructive way. Our ability is much better when combined than single-handed and this is what most of us should understand. Getting involved with a people in Aweil community and other southerners is the only way we can fight our major problems in the south as well as in our respective communities; this therefore requires no hesitation in seeking help from anybody who has ability and idea to help us. We all have obligation to put ourselves on our feet for better tomorrows or futures of next posterity. We must give Aweil community and south Sudan a new vitality so that we would be able to bring a better life in our communities. The community is comprised of a people therefore the image of the community must stand out more than that of the individuals/individual. We must always strive to make things work for the benefit of the community, and I hope this will tremendously help the current situation most of us are experiencing.

We ought to have  a community/communities where people/society care/cares for what the community will get out of whatever endeavor we have, this should be our ultimate concern if we want to create and establish a healthy and strong communities/community. Our values should be that of love, unity, peace, caring, optimism, hope, and equally important freedom. I know we have a wonderful capacity, but, on the contrary, we don't have ability to appropriately use  that ability, we need to understand the benefits of oneness and spirit of teamwork. What I know from my experience, however much strong and capable you maybe, your power as individual/individuals ability won't stronger or more powerful than that of community as whole. I am more concerned about the unity, teamwork, lack of isolation of some members in the community, caring for the community as whole, and love and appreciation of our different abilities, in this way I think there won't be any prejudice, hatred, and envy if that is the way we should stay in our communities/community. Therefore, we will have a community where I look at your ability as mine and not as threat to me. The bottomline is that let's free our community/communities from all bad things that sharply and dangerously divide us. You are one of the people in Aweil community or south Sudan who have ability to carry the message of unity forward to other communities and the rest of Aweil. We are able but being active is another important component of putting words into actions. The community/people dosen't/don't develop through hatred, envy, and prejudice but through love, unity, caring for one another and society as whole. Focuse on what will liberate the whole community should be our ultimate definite goal. Let's work as a group for our better tomorrows. The consequence is, it will take us shorter time to reach development and prosperity when our abilities are combined than working singl-handedly. The power and importance of the community must be recognized over that of individuals/individual. Through recognition of community as the powerful engine we can successfully operate, I think we with no doubt reach the highest avenues in the South Sudan or Aweil community.

I may apologize If I have given you too much than a mere welcome. I respect and honor your membership and that is the reason I didn't falter to write this lengthy message. I knew you would undertand that your registeration worth attention from Aweil people.

Thanks,

Garang-Mayik Aher

Dear Mr. Aher and others,

I am really happy with the spirit you people have shown me since my membership was confirmed. I do like your posting no matter it is long, and I promise that I will soon be able to put much of my time disscussing issues that need to be discussed for the benefit ot this great community (AWEIL) therefore, my replies to messages and that they are not being fully elaboreated at the moment do not mean I am not interested to coperhansively contirbute side-by-side with many of you.

About future discussions: I will make sure that I can not talk about Issues that are important to Madingda and exclude myself from being part of the people who are going to bring changes to the above mentioned area, of course South is the altimate goal for all of us.Brothers, even though some of us may not know one another physically that will not stoop us from exhcagning views through this froum. We all come from the same Aweil area and that is more than enough to assure us that we are one people; I also do not ignor that there will be issuses discussed where myself and possibly many of you may come to a disagreement, and I think you are mature enough to accept criticism, the notion that prepare someone to be ready for such expectaions, and that make no mistakes in the world of politic.

Once again, I thank you all for a worm welcome and that makes me feel at home.

A Wol Mawien Dut
