Hello!!

Hello everyone,

My name is Francis Pio Bol Buk, I'm new at the board just joined few weeks ago. And I've problem with my password that's why I didn't have time to say heoll. I just wanted to take time to thank you all for your warm welcoming to me when I first registered on the board. And particularly wanted to thanks (Kuot kuot) for the kind things he said about me. As a citizens of Aweil, I wanted to thanks each and every once of you for joining this discussion board. Because this center is where we can meet and talk about our issues and also about the future of Mading Aweil how we can develop Aweil to the next level as we always wish. As a young activist, I always talked about Aweil to those who don't Aweil that they people of Aweil are ther once who have been frontline of the war zones. And they're the once our brothers and sisters have been taken by the Arab into Slavery which I personally experienced.

Now after those of us who got lucky to escaped that situations and come to better places like America, Canada esle where were we resettle to seek a new freedom. We don't want to forget about what we've left behind and still going on. We need to united and work together to help our people back home and also in diaspora. Because today we're better off to do something that can help someone esle because there're opportunities of where we were.

As a new  person in this discussion board which I visited fiveth times and I read over your posts that you guys have been braod casting. I enjoyed most of your posters and I hope we'll contribute more ideas of how we can develop Aweil. For example, we need to talk about how we can built Schools, Hospitals, Community centers and every things that we need to develp Aweil as agreat city. I don't want you to take me wrong may be for these things I mentioned that we can achieve them all, but at laest we can do some thing better and greater.

    Peace &

   Francis Piol Bol Buk

Dear Francis Piol Bol,

I have a pleasure to welcome you to Mading Aweil public board. We are greatly honored to have you with us on this board. As we have said in the past, you are an icon of pride, your struggle is something worthy of emulation. Your being on this board is particularly important not only in terms of the contribution you will make, but also in being a role model for other Aweil sons and daughters who are yet to determine what life holds for them.

For those who have been hearing of Francis Bok (whose true name is Piol Bol), you have an opportunity to chat with him here on the board. I believe he will be more than glad to share his passions with you. Francis is a high profile fellow; he gave numerous speeches regarding slavery in Sudan across American universities, rallies, and on major T.V networks (including Canadian TVs'). Majority of major news network have interviewed Mr. Francis on slavery in Sudan. Francis went as far as speaking to US president George W. Bush on issues regarding slavery. Equally important fellow in this struggle is Mss/Mrs. Abuk Bak, the both have restored the voices of the oppressed Southern Sudanese in Washington DC. So Francis is an icon of pride for southern Sudanese in general and Aweil people in particular. One would argue that, Francis contributed in a great way to the signing of Sudan peace Act signed by George Bush last year.

Francis Piol wrote one the most selling books of all times; Escape from slavery, this book can be found in major libraries, you can also buy it on line such as on Amazon. You just search book by Francis Bok, you will find where to be buy.

Brother Piol Bol, we share the same passion with you, we know our homeland is in ruins; we also know that thousands of people from Aweil are currently in slavery, there coming back lies in our hands. I want to assure you that you are finally in the right place, a place where you will get all the necessary help you need in your quest to spearhead the issue of slavery. You will also come to know thousands of Aweil sons and daughters scattered across the globe on this board. One of the reasons why we created this board was to provide an environment where Aweil sons and daughters will be able to interact thereby knowing one another. And that is the only way we can realize the unity of our people. I wish you the very best of time on Mading Aweil board.

Kuot Kuot.

Hi Francis Bok,
How is life treating you? You must be getting busy with your job. I think it is a good job because you get to travel giving speeches and meeting new people. You did great last time at St. Michael College. Many people who attended your talked last time were glad they did. I talked with a lot of them and they say the honor you. In fact it will be good if you will come again. I don't know how that work. I am gonna be looking for a job that probably take me to places. I like those kinda jobs. I do recognized that a job is a job and above all for you, you are doing something very important that is probably gonna bring changes to the situation back home. You are raising an awareness that no one should underestimate. Keep up with it. Stay in touch. We might visit Boston this winter and if we do, I will let you know and we can stop by your place. Have good time and I will connect with you later

Hi Achier!

Michael's Colloge in Vermont, which I can't particularly memorize the exact Month. But, as you know about our struggle at home. Each and every once of us has an obligation to do something that will contibuted to the struggle in the South and the whole Sudan. And that's why I'm doing my duty as individual to give talks at the Universities and esle where...Anyway, thanks for understanding for responding back to you late regards your post.

Francis Piol,

Congrat' you are doing superb job. I have listened to a lot of your speeches online and are really really great. The speech you gave to jews studens at Harverd uni. was particularly amazing, you totally made people understood the meaning of "modern slavery" to Jews community (who are in fact our allies in struggle against Arab government) at Haverd. Keep up the good job bro we will support you were possible.

For anyone who wants to listen to Francis speeches, just google search "audio by Francis Bok" or anything like that and you will you listen to Francis speaking out passionately about the issue of Muralleeni. I believe that is what we need to be doing, we ought to come out and speak out about it. None out there is going to tell the world about what happened in our homeland, remember what they say "...if not you who...if not now when?..." The goal is on your court.

Listen to this...
