Welcome on board pal. I am glad seeing you in this region.
Ibrahim, do you know where Ustaz Makana Akol, our former head master when we were at Juba Primary School is living? I missed him man. Before he left for Tony, Southern Sudan, he promised I and Dut Kuol Makuac to take us with him, but I left for Ottawa, Canada few months later, and Dut Kuol Left for Salt Lake City, Utah a year or two afterward. Since, then I couldn’t locate the master.
Thank you friends for the warm welcome. I have no single doubt in my mind that I am at home. Oh! Yeah. I am expecting to meet my long lost friends and associates on this board. So far I have enjoyed meeting classmates.
Dear Deng Anthony,
Greeting to you, young man. Is this where you are likely to be met? I did not know otherwise, it would haven't taken me this long silence only to speak to you since then. Well, Mr. Sabrino Makana Akol is now one of the big fish in Tonj (take note of the spelling). Guess what? He and the old man, Uncle Yaidit ( from 47) competed for commissionership of Makuach county (Tonj East) last year, but as you know Makana, he did not only do a thorough campaign, but he also snatched the power with full speed. Instead of being an educator, he is now a manager of humanity or a commissioner by other name. Did you know that he is from Luach Aguer Adeel, eastern Tonj? That is where he is residing now. Too bad that you and Kuol Makuach never have the chance to go down with him, but so far there is no problem. Time will surely come for you to visit him. All right Mr. Tony, I think that is all I can say about the man you had asked of me. Take care and stick around - Bye!

Wow! Makana’s educational aspirations turned into a political theatre. I wasn’t aware of his commissionership. For sure, he is an industrious leader with a long vision. You can tell the legacy Makana left behind in Kadugeli (spelling man) Primary School and Juba Primary School when he was a head master. The same developmental fashion most of us witnessed from him will likely be witnessed by people elected him as a commissioner. Makana Akol is an altruistic human being. He is not like other leaders when elected, they take everything for themselves and do nothing but stay in the office.
Yeap! Makana told me he is from Luach Aguer Adeel. He used to tell me a lot of stories along with Madong William, Kaman Isaiah and Riel Moses Majok.
Anyway dude, thanks for the satisfactory information, and take care for yourself.
Are you guys are kidding me? So Makana Akol is not longer a mere (mwalimu) but a big cat somewhere in southern Sudan? Wow man, home is truly home. Congrat' to Makana Akol, he deserves it, he did a lot of services to southern Sudanese community during war time esp. in the field of education. Best wishes.
Hurrah! This board enlightens me with some new information most of the time about those I vividly know. For sure those teachers of ours were like our big brothers and their success or advancement in their undertakings are worth celebrating. Too bad they bumped on each other but for sure competition is human. I know both Makana and Yai-dit. Thanks Deng mtoto for raising the topic and thanks Manoi for your answer. More is anticipated.
By the way, welcome Manoi. Nice seeing you around bro. Another cool rendezvous, don't you agree?
Welcome last man since world is so simple nowadays we do share ideas and though through wirless, on the contrary nick names are quite scare to be known when some individuals were mentioned M.A.M,I emulate and try to reason and I didn't describes the names as you buddy, hencepost, I just came to recognise as you through Kuot Kuot when mentioning your dad's name hence, therefore, welcome to the board ''Abuna'' we need you here. all your folks are here buddy.
By the way where is William kuc now? Furthermore, thank for eleborated Makana Akol which I expect this industrial man in future to do such thing.
Thank you all for giving me the chance to remember and talk of our bush brothers, teachers, and elders. Yes, home is home, and many expectations are coming into reality. And yes, there are more surprises taking places in our respective locations. As the CPA (comprehensive peace agreement)is now in place, it is inevitable that we will soon be hearing so is this and so is that all over the South Sudan.
David,
Are you Mr. Dut? I mean, your second name. Well, I heard of William Kuach being with Ngong Abuk in Nairobi last year, and that was the lastest info I have of him. If he is not there right now, then, he might be in Alek Aguok. I am not really sure to be precise. Thank you for asking though.
I wish you all great time wherever you are. Bye!
M.A.M
