I want to seriously heed you that the disaster of this year will be more exacerbated than the one in 1988 and 1999 which was or caused unforgetable starvation nicknamed the hunger of doomsday"chok makurup in dinka."
My siblings ! my siblings!!! According to Africa world News , posted last night on the Sudan News coverage, there are about 353,000 Returnees and about 300,000 refugees that the UN plans to cater for this year with so little attention to the IDPS among which 5.8 millions are from our country. Assumptively, half of that may be from Southern Sudan whose quarter of that might be from our State , as far as my sentiment is concerned. As a matter of facts, UNHCR and other World Communities have and had been playing tremendous and redeeming roles in the aspectic lifes of the IDPS and Refugees of our country. So now , it is our obligations to back up this great international organization by doing a meagre something to our own people before they do.
I suggest that we should contribute something so little, especially we, the ones in the US. I would like a part time Aweil student to pool a share of $100 and $45-80 for a full time student and Aweil families will fall in the range of the part time students.I , in my opinion suggest Abraham Nhial to be the collector,in case of the states .Suggest someone of your choice if you want, anyway.this would make a superb difference,if we are earnest for it.
Together we stand and seperated we fall! Iam purposely , posting this item as strut for the previous column by our gifted person and uncle Wekdit and his lovely dauthers.
Your generousity for Aweil people is well understood here on the board, but it seems like you don't know the Aweil organs/agencies that are operating here in US. I believe each State has a structure existing now. And the must ipmortant one " Aweil community association of USA". So I am advising you to let this office be aware of the issue, if you don,t have one in your State of residence
what's up dude, long time no see. can you please sent me your private contact on this e-mail (awachanei@yahoo.com ). it was nice to hear from you again and thank for input on aweil overwhelming tragedy situation.
Akol, you are absolutely right, our dime or whatever we contribute can make different in South Sudan, Awiel mean body for both youth and elders need to call special meeting to discuse this disturbing problematic news about dearth in Awiel areas. I hope all of Awielians are aware of this famine' please let's do something for our people.
