Northern Bar elghazal state celebrated Saturday the arrival of train from Northern part of the country to Southern Sudan Aweil states since many years of war train was suppressed by people around the railway of breaking apart the railway line.
The Saturday arrival of the train to Aweil state was celebrated by the state government headed by state governor Paul Malong Awan and the same thing concurrently happened in Wau where the train railway line ended.According to Garang Ngong the resident in Aweil said that the celebration show that the residents near railway preferred for railway in time of peace and dishoarded in time of war, as what had happened in time of war.Garang said the arrival of train to Aweil and Wau states will increase business activities in the areas because those two states gets their mainly goods from the Northern part.
He added that governor Paul express his happiness with common citizens of Aweil state for immediately renewed of the railway line.
Malong said, business activities in the area is the targets of every citizens of Sudan and the government of Aweil state is indeed welcome interconnection of business activities between South- North through easily accessibility to transportation of goods and services told Garang.Railway line was sabotages that time because the government of Sudan use railway as mean of transports for its armies to Aweil states and rest of Southern Sudan areas and that was why villages decided to raze the railway said Bol Msyik Aweil residen
The annihilation of the railways by communities in Aweil in the time of war have given the seldom peace Bol added although business activities was break off.Therefore, we experiencing a bit peace brought in by comprehensive peace agreement and we need to enjoy it together with the rest of our brothers in the North who were innocent through business intertwine Bol explained.
