The medical Dr. Garang Dakjur Lueth explained to the State media yesterday that however Wau main teaching Hospital has acquired some changes in term of renovation of dispensaries, Wau Hospital is still in dire needs of curable medicine which he describe that the hospital does not have. The new renovated hospital by the state Governor Rizik Zackaria Hussen needs heavily facilities to meet the gratitude of the patiences who are under taking medication. Just 5 years of interim period following the taking over the powers by the South Sudans rolling party (SPLM) Wau teaching Hospital has now achieved some changes as patience are taking their admission on good beds, said a mother with her child under taking medicines in Wau teaching Hospital. Meanwhile the Director of HIVs / Aid testing department at Wau hospital Natenlina Waderif Ali, appeal to the entire citizens across Western Bahr el Ghazal State to come for testing so that they can know their status. Once referred to as the last untouched pocket of Africa in regards to HIV/Aids prevalence, Southern Sudan particularly today, Wau is now hit by a massive threat from the pandemic since the state has began testing its population from 2005 up to now.
