Wau-Ater Garang Ariath Northern Bahr El Ghazal inmate who was arrested after the governor Paul Malong Awan levelled theft charges against him of delayed 950 million old Sudanese pound not to met dateline which issued by the Central Bank of South Sudan after new pound introduces relaesed . Piol Deng Akot releases on Monday in Northern Bahr El Ghazal State after successful completed 6 months jail terms conviction against him by the High Court after allegedly accused by the State governor of mishandled 950 million Sudanese pounds of which he dissmised as allegation in the month of March to the Citizen in an interview. We have filed an appeal so that the case will be transfer to national level but the governor with his kith and kin who acted on his behalf pressurize the high court in Northern-Bahr El Ghazal State to annulified an appeal processes, of which my defense lawyer Dr. Abdala Amit described as unlawful, said Akot. He accused the governor of misusing the powers that of which he participated to voted him in 2010 election by impeded the independent work of judiciary in the State. The Director of prison services was fired by him months ago after refusal to comply with his request to referred us to Western-Bahr El Ghazal prison, adding that the governor has contraband completely the court procedures and it mandates, he emphasized. He pointed his relative of which he used to confronted him, Makuach Lual Tong is naive since he has no information about the deal between me and the governor, because i change my hand with governor not him and it is good for Awan to battle me in court. He vows that he want the case this time around to be held in national level, as in acquisition of his right in the court as the citizen of Northern Bahr El Ghazal State and South Sudan, beiing that the court in the State is vulnerable to unlawful directives exert upon them. He Urges the government of South Sudan Ministry of Justice to collect opinion across the country to see by themeselves that the 2/3 who are laws breakers are our leaders that suppose to be the custodians.
